Shocks&springs

If I'm willing to buy some eibach 3815(I think it's the right number, anyway some lowered springs for the 4banger stangs)

Can I keep the OEM shocks and struts, or I have to buy "performance/aftermarket" shocks&struts?

'cause I bought some shocks+Struts a month ago, installed them, and one of my rear spring broke.. this week.. so.. If I can keep the OEM it would be great..

Salut...

Best to upgrade. OEM units are not valved to handle the lowering spring.

I use a set of premium units from Ford for the Cobra. Got em from ebay for $80 usd, delivered to my door. Yes a complete set front and rears The cobra units are sport tuned, and can handle moderate drops. All I had to do was trim the bump stops to accomodate the drop.

KYB GR2's are good, Bilstein HD's, Tokicos. Depends on your budget.
