Hey guys, a while ago i touched something around my selinoid on accident with a wrench and it sparked. After that my cd player and roof light stopped working. When I went to check the fuses and change them they kept blowing. I have no idea where the short is and id rather not deal with it. Could a place like audio excellence or sound advice fix this? Ive taken it to audio excellence and they said they would have to look at it and it would be out of there within 30 minutes fixed or not.... What should I do.

did you check the wires around the solenoid to see if any of them melted? If you unplug the CD player, and replace the fuse - does it still blow? Maybe check with a multimeter (checking for resistance) for the dome light put one probe in the positive and another on a ground, if there is no resistence, blamo we got a short circuit.

What fuse(s) are blowing? Have you disconnected items that were not original equipment on the car and see if the fuse(s) still blow?
