Hi all,

My combo is in my sig. I am afraid of spinning out of control. I was going to try it in like third so just in case, I don't rocket out of control at too high a speed. Can any of y'all offer me some do's and dont's or any advice on what to be careful of? My tires are 245/17's and all weather bf goodrich...I know that's not ideal...Thanks.

when i ran the nitrous, i never sprayed it under 3k and i wouldnt spray it until at least 3rd gear. thats just something ive always relied on to keep my safety and the safety of the car at its peak. and def do it in a straight line. have fun with it.

Thanks guys. I just tested it out. A couple of things I noticed:

#1 The front end lifts up and it takes off but to me the vert FEELS like one of the heaviest cars I have ever had. That's even after lightening it by 200 pounds.

#2 The nitrous makes the car a lot louder. My dam emergency brake rattles even louder and my exaust tubes rumble making a sort of pinging sound. If I didn't have it professionally tuned I would have thought it was pinging. But hitting it in a higher gear I could tell it was not pinging.

#3 The dry shot is SMOOOTH. It doesn't bang your wheels loose or anything dangerous like that. It just lifts up and takes off.

I am thinking, "where am I going to go?" I can't drive it on the road like this because I am waay beyond any acceptable speed in NO time, lol!

Oh yea,..and #4, why isn't my stock trans with 150k grenading!!?? Hey, works for me! (I don't slam gears).

I ran a 125 wet shot several times and now have a 150 setup (not running yet until I get the final A/F confirmed with a WB). I used it in any gear except 5th (very bad to do so) and launched at the track from first 3x's. Just make sure your going straight like said and :D

Yep. I tried it in first through third with no troubles once I got the feel for it. It is a little strange because when you take out timing you have less power low end but at 3000RPM, everybody better get out of the way or they will get run over , lol.

just a question do you have a window switch installed with your kit too, and do you have a microswitch or is it just a push button on yours?

I just have 2 switches, one for a bottle heater and one for nitrous on off. I purge by shutting off the valve and turning on the n2o switch and hitting the throttle til all gone. No need to buy and expen$ive purge switch.

that isnt a window switch. a window switch could be programmed to automatically come on no sooner than 3k and shut off automatically no later than lets say 6k. definently something you want to consider.

Yes thanks. I rarely go higher than 5800 considering my peak HP and TQ points shown on the dyno graph but yes being safe is important.

Correct, but the purpose of the window switch is to cut off the nitrous in case something goes wrong (such as downshifting instead of upshifting). In that timeframe you probably won't have your wits with you enough to hit the kill switch befor the motor and or transmission eats the ****ter.

I'd be very hesitant about running a kit without a window switch

It is pretty cool. I am they kind of person that like to try stuff out as you can tell and then sell it.

Considering I do not go to the track much, I can't see using it as fast as it is. Yeah, I know that sounds crazy to you guys. I just like to experience mods and then sell them if I am not going to use them.

Maybe I am getting old, lol. I think I am going to turn around and sell this kit for a little less than I bought it on ebay.
