i got a swapped 99, with 4.6 SOHC and t45, i have off road X pipe (have mils) and a few other minor mods such as CAI, u/d pullies, headers, x pipe and catback, also have the PI intake (my motor was from a wrecked 98 gt) its been runnin great since the swap (10k miles) but i blew the 7.5 at the track last month so now im gettin a 8.8 with 4.10's, my question is, i have removed The EGR tube, and valve fromt he car ( makes much easier to work with the motor) and of course its thrown codes, and im burnin more fuel...but i still managed to pull a 15.00 at the track on my first run with crappy reaction time, crappy 60ft and so on, so i know with the 8.8 i should be able to put it down alot better, but what do you guys reccommend? i need to AT LEAST be able to tell the computer to stop looking for the EGR, and that its got 4.10's....what should i do, and how much should i start savn up for??
