Here is the skinny:
Ive been trying to sell this laptop on ebay. First time around, I get a scammer who wanted me to send the laptop to Nigeria and had a weak story, so I relist.
Second time around, I get another scammer from Nigeria. This guy is better though. He sends me a fake paypal confirmation from an account that could almost appear real if you didnt see that it wasnt sent by Paypal.
So here is my dilemna. He is willing to give me his Fedex account to send the package to Nigeria -- big bucks. Of course, he wants me to put the value at $10 for customs reasons. Here is my idea, which Ill admit is not original - Ive seen it online somewhere: I put a phonebook in a box, use his fedex account number to mail it to him in Nigeria using the most expensive option, BUT put the real value on it, ie $600. Basically, he will end up paying out the *ss in both shipping and custom charges to get a phonebook
Or I can just tell him that I know he is a scammer and let it end there.
What do you think?
