he is offering to pay to have the spring on our stangs swapped because he is having a problem with his supercharger rubbing when going over bumps.

Should I do it?

We both have 97 gt verts.

Thanks CE

Haha, I hope he is talking about the supercharger intercooler tubes rubbing over bumps, and not the supercharger itself. Even if it was a centrifugal blower mounted way low for some reason, those would have to be looooooooooow springs to make it hit the ground. The pro-kit springs are prety good. They don't sag like the sportlines did.

YES. I loved my prokit springs - best in-arm springs for these cars IMO.

thanks guys...it is my buddy from college so i doubt he would steer me wrong and try to con me or anything...he said that the supercharger rubs on the right front wheel...i'm assuming that part of the wheel well was cut out to fit the blower in....we are going to get together this week for and go for a cruise...i will check it out more then and try to understand it more though....i'll let you guys know what i decide

Yeah I would not get them for that reason.
It's not worth the labor just to get a 1.2-1.5" drop. JMO
