Starting my research on building the next engine going into my 89 black notchback. I have something in mind for a N/A 347 but wanted to see or hear what you have, what power levels you are making and how you like your combo.
I have been thinking of a 347, AFR 185 heads, holly systeMax II intake. 1.6 roller rockers, and might port and polish the heads and intake a bit. Nothing is set in stone so tell me what you have.
My notchback is a nice day daily driver and it will not see the 1/4 mile. It will be used for spirited street driving and very little track or autocross racing. Nothing too crazy, about 400 n/a hp.
What are your opinions on Canfield, Edelbrock, AFR, Brodix st50, Holley, Z 304, Twisted Wedge?
