13.9 w/ 1.9 60'. Time was achieved on BFG KDW's, full weight (spare included), stock shifter (did not have the Tri-ax listed in sig).

Car is now noticeably faster since I put the MIL's in. I was told it would go into fail safe mode because of the CEL for my O2's, and I can see the truth in this since I put them in. I think a 13.7-13.8 is achievable with nothing more.

If it's in limp-home mode, the SES light will flash and the car will have no power. The only thing patching the O2's (which, btw, arent even O2s- theyre catalytic efficiency monitors) will do is fix the error code.

Get gears!

But Timmy hooked you up, and yourold butt learned the car.... actually the learning the car part is the most important. We race as a club locally 1x per month. The guys that go to T&Ts in between events always have the best improvements (old or young)

Came home very unhappy. Best I did is 14.00 WTF
I couldn't hook up and my engine is way too cold now a days wtf ?

I think I found my problem. After got my cams install , I start hearing whistle sound and I thought it may be from sucking more air with cams.

Few weeks ago I saw that my lower intake had some oil on it so I thought maby the gasket is bad in between
upper intake and lower intake so I bought one from ford and change it . Whistleing sound is still there and getting louder and oil ie leaking again from in between
upper intake and lower intake .

Now my guess is my lower intake cracked ? Fu*king plastic pos from ford.

How much does it cost ? Which one should I buy ? Don't have lot's of money cause saving for supercharger.

How hard is it to install ? Do I have to buy gasket when I replace lower intake ?

My best 1/4 to date is 13.5 @ 103. 1.8 60'

Sorry for the long post

Thanks in adavance

2.07 60' 12.697@110mph on run of the mill street radials. that was pretty much untuned almost 2 years ago. i've only been back to the track twice since and had problems with heat, traction, and the stock torque converter that prevented me from going faster.

You should make a new, separate post in 4.6 Tech on this. But generally speaking, there is no oil flowing through the intake manifold anywhere at all. If it's got oil between the lower and upper, it's coming from somewhere else. Either it's leaking nearby and making its way to there, or you're sucking oil in through your inlet tube or PCV valve.

Again, make a new post in 4.6 Tech on this, and you can probably get better help/tips.

Time in sig below. I was able to only get to the track once this past summer since the balance & blueprint & cams. I was able to get it to run a little better since then but never had chance to go back and try it again. I was able to get some good times on my G-tech Comp but I only count the official 1/4 mile time at the track for my sig. Maybe next summer......
