yea we could. if i got my 60' down some more ill be with you. Im pretty sure a lil bit more work and i can do it i just need to practice some more. also the track was only about 40 degrees so i had to drop my tire pressure to 20 cause anything above that spun like crazy.

My best so far is a 13.5 @ 105. There are some tenths and hundredths in there too
but I cant remember them or find the slip. I was proud of that # until I saw that
other people running 105 are closer to 13 flat.

haven't taken it to the track yet, and will prolly suck for awhile when I do, since I have no experience... but can you guys tell me what my car should be capable of if I was a decent driver next spring, at which time my mods will be: Mac CAI, Accufab 75mm tb and plenum, SCT xcal2 tune, mac o/r h pipe + flowmaster 40's, and by then will have added 4.10's???

No experience=14.5-14.7...experience=14.0-14.3. Sticky tires get you 13.9's.

There is no way in hell that car will only run a 13.9 with sticky tires and all those mods. Yesterday there was a 03 GT with x-pipe, mufflers and the guy could not drive to save his life. 2.7 60' and still running a 14.75.
For example, my GT has 3.73's not 4.10's, and only an x-pipe and catback and runs 13.59's on a 2" drop and 18's.
With those mods and sticky tires, you can see 13.2 if not 13.1's if properly driven. Shiet, i'm shooting for 13.2-13.3's when my drag radials arrive in a few weeks
No harsh feeling COrampart, just adding alittle bit of knowledge from my experience

No doubt with experience but you are talking quite a bit of expereince. Low 14's/high 13's are possible stock but you have to drive the hell out of it. I'm being realistic...and from what I've actually seen at the track. Once you make about 10-15 passes then you may be able to get some low 13 passes in good weather with her mods. I ahve that in my car but I've only run 5 times on my latest set-up. A few more runs and I can be in the mid to low 13's too. But seat time is the difference.

Mid to low 13s are fairly easily achievable with a few mods, a good amount of seat time at the track, and a decent track at low altitude with generally good cool weather. Some tracks aren't well maintained or prepared, others only rarely have favorable weather.

Well, I forgot to add in the MGW shifter, if that helps at all, and it'll be a good track, Atco, and I assumed times would suck for awhile until I learn, I was just curious what the car itself was capable of. I practice alot on the road where my job is (every morning and every night), but I don't really get to practice from a dead stop, so I have to learn how to start, lol. Thanks for the input guys...

Edit: I NEED to go to the track, haha. I am missing out on all the fun...

The best I could muster with my 96 GT was
a 14.7 in the 1/4 mile with only a few bolton's.
I was spinning in first and second gear because of
my bald Nitto 555's.I belive my 60' foot was around
a 2.2-2.3 not too sure though.I haven't got to run my car with
my PI cams or my PI intake manifold I will be installing in
a week or two.Next the first thing I will do is address my mustang
with some suspension mods.
