That's crazy.... always required a signature for my stuff.

Anyway, Summit said they couldn't price match the KIT, but could beat the individual prices. $78 for meter, $298 for injectors. Ended up being $386.95 after handling.... $6.95 more than the total from the "other" place. Definately worth $7 not to mess with the "other" place. Plus I had that gift card to use.

The first Summit rep didn't know too much. If anyone needs a great Rep. Call ext 5842 and talk to Gage. He's a funny guy. Very friendly. He is an F-body owner though. HAHAHAHA.....

glad to hear that Summit picked up the slack.

i've only had good luck with www.artsperformanceparts.com. so far they have been the best internet vendor i personally have dealt with.
i have had mixed experiences with other big or small named vendors.
Like Summit i spend $780 and everything is on the money, comes in on time and nothing is missing or no wrong parts. i order $200 and pay for 2 day shipping, comes late and they couldn't get plugs and wires right. the way they handled my complaint call to me was unexceptable, so i don't use them anymore.
and now i started doing business with a local vendor that can give me the same prices if not better than any advertised price on the net or mag, cataloges etc.. and in like a month and half i done about $2,500 - $3,000 worth of business with them.
once you find that vendor that will take care of you there will be less worry when buy parts.

Good luck

At least you didnt get your CC number stolen like i did. I ordered stuff from upr and mustangs unlimited and got my # stolen both times. Screwed up my bank account for 6 months each time before i got it all straightened out.

I dont order online anymore. I just go to my tuner to order my stuff since he is a dealer for most of what i want. For the rest, i drive to summit to get it. And you think they don't know much on the phone, try dealing with them in person. I hate going there. Most of the people there know nothing about cars at all. The only thing they know is what the computer tells them.

welcome to the current socialist business trend that is making a comeback. THe capitalist movement is slowly winding down. Summit will work hard for your order and the proof is in the customer support. other smaller places don't waste their time becuase the profit isn't there. They feel it isn't worth this dude complaining about his $15 part, we might as well just tell him to take his business elsewhere and not worry about it.

Guess I know who can't tell the truth now. They just sent me the tracking number for the shipment. Which is 100% against their policy. WHY did they send it? Who knows... guess they are bragging it made it to Springfield (7 miles from my place) when they cancelled the order?

This is also twice now they've said my CC has been credited back. Just checked online, it has NOT been.
Time to talk to the CC company again.

Thus the reason you didn't get introduced to their "lovely" customer service dept.

Took a while longer than they said, but I finally got my card refunded.

Injectors are here from Summit already. Just waiting on the M/A.

Hopefully when this ice storm ends, I can work on the car.
