On the SII intercooler it has two little fans on one side of it...My ? is can you add more fans to the other side or do they have it like that for a reason?
There is room for 2 more of the same fans and if they would help why dont they have them on....

So the intercooler is in the manifold and the heat exchanger in the front mounted unit, eh. I will have to remember that.

I haven’t heard of anyone adding additional fans to the “heat exchanger”. I don’t know how much more efficient it would be. I would probably install a larger exchanger for more cooling surface area and utilize the stock fans.

I upgraded my heat exchanger to the gords ford cobra version. I would recommend upgrading your intercooler first though.

Here's a pic of the gords he vs stock saleen he

SSTrayer what all needed to be done for that gords to fit properly? And where do u mount your fans?

The fans bolted right in similar to the stock one. I just told Gord the size of the Saleen SPAL fans. You just need hose adapters as the cobra hoses are 1/8th or so bigger than the saleen hoses. We couldn't find the one piece so it took 2 or 3 adapters to get it done. We bought the parts at Napa.
