simple question about vortech

[speed insanity]

i plan on buying a used vortech v1 s trim or a v2 sq trim kit. since i am new to this, could you guys tell me as to what questions i should ask or things i should look for to make sure that everything is in working order and will last ? i dont want to throw my money away or get screwed on my money. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Ask how many miles it was on the vehicle, what size pulley is on it, and has it ever been sent to Vortech for maintenance.

As far as the kit goes, ask what size MAF, what size injectors, what size and kind of fuel pump, what kind of chip, etc.

Not much you can do to be sure, my advice would be to have them throw it up on ebay with the buy it now price set to what you guys decide. Thats what I did for a few items I have bought. This way Ebay can fight it if they send you a defective part. It will cost them a little percentage, I believe like 4-5% total if they use paypal as well, so maybe offer them a little extra in return for the inconvienience.
