I would like to remove the factory cd player since it is completely useless and an eye sore. I've seen people with pockets that replace the cd player and create some storage space. Where can I get one from? I've tried Circuit City, Best Buy, and Crutchfield with no success up to this point. Thanks in advance.

I'll get you the part number tomorrow as I just ordered mine today. i do get a little discount at our local ford garage, but it was ~$29 plus tax. The one from ford also comes with a little "pad" in it too.

I took mine out as I have a Sony 10 band digital EQ there now. The only option I do not have on my car (non-vert GT wise) is the mach 460 as far as I can tell...

As far as pockets go they are nice, good depth and the pad helps grip things.

I kinda miss having the pocket...esp. after I missed a shift at the track and ended up punching the EQ when my hand slipped off the shifter knob...now the display is screwed up.

I think that we have all done that before. I almost broke two fingers at the track. I had two fingers hit the back of the din and jammed them so bad the stayed swollen and blue for two weeks.
