Size of Nut on Stock Alt. Driveshaft?

anyone know what size of nut i need for the nut that holds the pully on the Alt.? i made the mistake of swapping pullies, and not using an air ratchet to tighten the nut back on (didn't have one). well it lasted about 1 day, must have flew off while driving. ford says it will take a long time to order one in... where could i find one? anyone know the size? thx.

Pretty sure it's 15/16th.

Pretty sure it's 15/16th.

The socket used to remove it is 15/16", but the nut is something like an 11/16" or 5/8".

Just take off the alternator and take it into the hardware store with you. That way you can get the exact size and threading you need.

And don't forget the lockwasher.
