Slicks on v6 rims?

I'm buying two 15" v6 rims and am planning to mount some slicks on them.

Will Tire, ET Street, 27 x10.50-15 fit on these wheels. I will be using tubes as well..

I've seen an 03 Cobra run MT's on V6 rims at the track, but I don't know if they were that wide. Even GT rims are only 8" wide, I'm assuming the V6 ones are narrower. Even if it does fit, the contact patch won't be what it could be.

The V6 rims are 15x7's and I've seen 26x8 MT ET streets on them. 10.5 is too wide.
