well, long story short i got some 29x10.5-15 hoosier slicks that only have 2 or 3 passes on them, about half tread left. i would like to put the on my car (1997 mustang gt). i currently have the stock 225/55-16's and these are just for the hell of it (please dont flame)

just had a few questions:

is it possible to even fit these without cutting the fenders?

Do i need to tube them? i have some rims that will fit, and they have 40mm MORE back spacing that stock gt rims. so im guessing that they MIGHT fit side to side, but unsure them being too tall.

thanks

I'm guessing that you are making around 1000hp or so with that tire choice. You might need to cut in to the fender, get longer studs and the proper hub centric spacer.

Good luck! That is a lot of tire. FYI, I run a 275/40-17 drag radial on dead hook at 750hp at the crank. You might want to reconsider your tire choice unless you are over 1000hp.
