Small Tech Question on Interior...

How do you remove the headlight knob on the dash? Is there a c-clip or something in there...it's hard to see in the little slot, and I don't want to break it. Thanks
Reach up under the dash and there is a button on the switch itself you have to press it down and pull on the switch at the same time.

Removing the headlight switch was one of the hardest and most frustrating things to do. I used needle nose pliers and the bent nail tool.
Not sure what BillyFE390 is talking about...?
Dude I took mine out and it is a cheap ass made in taiwan old school type of switch. The sad thing is the harness has been cut and adapted to this switch.

Huh? 02camarokiller only wants to take the knob off, not take the whole switch out.

Dude, what year Mustang are you talking about? With your name being 'FE390', I'm guessing a late 60's model. Do you own an SN95 as well? This is 4.6L Tech.

First of all PISS OFF with the spelling police.

Second it is a 97 GT and I have a aborted mess of wiring under the dash that I just found out about tonight. My knob is the old style that requires you to press the button on the top of the switch allowing you to pull the knob and attached rod out. Honestly I think someone adapted one out of a crown vic.

Actually, it's the punctuation police. :rlaugh: I'm just asking that you come up for air once in a while and drop a period in every now and then so your reading audience will know when your shifting gears/thoughts. Sorry if you cannot take constructive criticism - get over it.
