If you haven't already bought one, just remove it, cap the lines and get a shorter belt.

Take your belt off and get a piece of string or yarn or the such and wrap it around the pulleys. Then measure the string. Thats approximately how long of a belt you will need. Make sure the tensioner is out of the way when you measure.

This will work, but when you go to Autozone, and tell them, "I need a 87 inch belt." They'll ask "What's it for?"

I tried that when I shredded the one on my supercharged Cobra, they were completely lost. They actually let me go back there and I found the 113 inch belt I needed.

Go to a NAPA store they have charts that cross length to their P/N. Very helpful, It took me several trips to get the right one for my setup. I did try a pump eliminator pully for a while but the bearing didn't last very long, and why have an extra pully that you don't need any way?
