smog pump

i am gonna take off my smog pump butshould i disconnect the hoses and sensors. also i am gonna just gonna use a shorter belt but do i have to buy anything speacil to doo away with this pump. is their a website i can go to to help me and give me instructions on how to do this. i dont want a pully so wut do i do

The easiest thing to do is just switch belts and keep the pump where is it. My 89 is like that. However, I need to take that pump off and use it on my other car so I would like to know what to do with all the hoses also.

Also don't take your pump off if you have cats (unless you don't care about ruining them).
