Smog Sticker

I went to get my 92 Lx 5.0 smogged and the guy said I need to show a sticker that states my FRPP shorty headers are smog legal in California. I bought the car with them and was given no sticker. Can I get one from Ford, print one off of the internet? I don't have stock headers and have been told these are emissions legal. Any suggestions would help.

there smog legal in all 50 states. we have them on the 86. we never had to show a sticker. best bet would be to surf the web and look around for it.

You need to locate the C.A.R.B. certification number. As 'lil bro stated, surf the net to find it..then show the guy the proof.

Check the headers closely. There should be a metal tag welded to them that has the part number & CARB number on it.

Just take a summit mag in there and show him the page with the headers on it.. it states smog legal right on it

same here..at least in central Ohio.... I go to school up in northern Ohio and people here have to get that e-Check or whatever to get their registration....sucks for them lol
