hey guys, ive been slowly working on my v8 swap and I want to weld up the engine bay. I saw that Late model resto sells weld in smooth apron covers. My bay is ground down to bare metal right now, so do I coat anything on the metal before welding the panels in? What stops the moisture from setting in between the two pieces?
