I'm not for sure if I posted this in the wrong place but I did not see a designated place for supercharger questions. I was running a sn93 paxton and sold it for a vortech a-trim thinking that I was upgrading. Now I'm begining to wonder as I think that the sn93 flows a little more cfm. What do you guys think. I didn't get the s-trim as I don't have the money. Thanks Kris

My setup is a 89gt with gt40 heads, gt40 intakes, tfs 1 cam 65mm throttle body etc

They are pretty close in power output.
Would i of sold the paxton sn93 to get an A trim?
Probably not.
But, now that you did, i believe you can call vortech and upgrade the A trim to an S when the money is available.

Crap! The only thing that gives me high hope is that you can change out pulley on the vortech and up the boost. Where as the sn93 you don't have that much room to play with. I just don't see paying $400-$500 for dyno tuning and not have gained anything. Thanks Kris

Anyway I might see 400 rwhp with my setup of ...

Gt40 Heads
Gt40 Tubular upper and lower intakes
65mm TB
90mm Lightning Maf
42lb injectors
Trick Flow Stage 1 Cam
255lph fuel pump
Vortech A-Trim with 7 inch crank and 2.75 supercharger pulley

No power steering, No A/C, No Smog, and electric fan.

Thanks
