im pretty sure this is the original 1994 pass side head but it could be the new 2014 drivers side head

ohh and he said something about doing the cylinders to .10 does that sound right??

Not quite sure what he means by a 2014 head.

Pushrod engines like ours have been out of mustangs since '96.

Someone school me here, is there something here I'm not aware of?

Ahhhh.

I'm not much of a fan of Pepboys either, some of the guys here are.

Give it about three months talking to us and you'll do your own head, cam, intake swap. QC is much better when you do it yourself.

They do cost more, but, as far as aluminum heads go, they're cheap. Maybe $600 per head tops for new. You'll be able to find cheaper out there, especially good used ones. They are Ford Racing parts.

When they came out, they were the schizzle. Manufacturing has advanced considerably since then. AFR and Trick Flow are two fantastic makers of aluminum heads.

I have GT40X heads on my red car, as I said, at one point, they were very nice. Compared to the stock heads, they're still really great though.

We're so spread out. you have guys from Florida to Hawaii and up to Canada here.

There are local mustang clubs everywhere though, look on Facebook. You'll find several there that you can hook up with.

I'm in Oklahoma myself.

I always liked the Marauder. I worked for a ford dealership for a number of years back when those were out.

Crippled? What's up?

knees are shot to hell .... the only mustang club where i am at i wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire .. the head guy in the group "doc" totaly F-ed up my convert top when he "fixed" it ... the lower part of the back window started to separate from the top so i looked at a bunch of places and on you tube and found how to fix it .. but i couldn't do it physically so i took it to docs upholstery in Belvidere and he made it 10 times worse now the car floods when it rains

A thousand! Good god! We need to find you some help man. Crap, at 5k for what you're having done it shouldn't cost any extra.

What's the closest big city to you? Surely there's some clubs there that can help out.

How the **** would that add money if he has not done any machine work to the heads yet? Gt40 heads cost 300$ at a JY and need the same machine work stock heads do.

IMO buy a top end kit from trick flow and have it put on no machine work needs to be done comes with intake heads cam rockers and all the necessary little stuff. This guy is a vampire for sure.

Come on! A Sentra doesn't do it for you? Or is that a Versa?

Seriously though, there has to be another club or two in your area. I'm in Tulsa and there are three or four that I know of.
