I was detailing it the other day getting ready for an upcoming show and thought I would snap a few pics. We had her dipped in fresh Sonic Blue color off of the 03-04 Cobra color chart. She just tipped 62,000 miles on the odometer and garaged daily. I know some people dont care for the 4 lugger Cobra wheels, but that was what was on her when purchased. I may look into the 5 lug swap and also another brand of stock looking wheel. I want to keep her clean looking and not get too flashy with extras.

Tell me what you think.

Nice. I like the mufflers, i've had that same idea but i was just going to run turndowns on the dumped side instead of the caps. Flowtech make a muffler called the Warlock that has 2 exit options, one is the typical muffler style and one is a straight through style like a resonator. That would also be pretty cool. If you had the cash it would be cool to wire up some remote openers so you don't have to get under the car to open them up.

Thanks David,
Yeah the custom dumps I created can be a pain jacking up the car to put the caps in. Would be nice to configure a way for electronic cutouts on the backs of the muffs. Im sure thats possible. I had a friend who put the warlock on his 97 Cobra one time and didnt care for it because as you know its a straight through option without muffling at all. It sounded like glasspacks.
I think next week Im going to have the door weather stripping replaced and windows re-tinted as they both are a little worn looking. Other than that she will be ready to show.

Yeah i don't know about the straight through myself either. I thought about running the remote openers after my headers to run open exhaust at the track but i don't think my engine would benefit from it. That sonic blue is one of my favorite colors. They should make a red color that goes from bright to dark like that blue does in the shadows. Also a black/coal color would really be awesome.

You are right...lol
I may try and drive out in a scenic location near my home and shoot some. I would also like to get a few of the inside to post.

Thanks for all of the kind words guys.

Absolutely awesome LX, my 88 is regatta blue and the sonic is whats going on it this spring. Now I see that is a great choice, and the rims look good, clean and solid- not all Foosed out. If you need glitz, by a fox GT!

I added a few more photos to the top and one is of the inside. Not the best view, but you can see she is retained most of the factory look.

Thanks for the props and yeah, a set of Eibachs would make her look mean.
