Snow performance Meth Kit

Well since I was waiting for a tune I decided to install another GO FAST goodie in the car. I'm trying to get a safe 400+ to the rear wheels of this car.. So I read up on the hole methanol injection thing and thought it would be a good idea for protection and a little more HP to install one.

I wanted the Anderson Mr. freeze but it would'nt work on my car. Here are some pics.

Since it's a trunk Install I made this cover to protect it from loose items. Yep I still use my trunk to carry around stuff.

Here is the cover installed, I think it came out pretty good.

The kit that I purchased was the Stage 1 kit and it work off the vacuum and boost of your car. So you set it to come on at a Boost psi and it sprays when it hits that. Since I'm going to be running dual boost. like 8psi for everyday driveing and like 12 to 13 for fun I will set it to come on at 11psi. it has a little green light to tell you when its spraying and i mounted that beside my Boost controller.

I wish I would have mounted mine in the trunk, but I mounted it in front were the battery used to be.

You'll have to let us know what you picked up with it. I gained 40 rwhp just off the Meth injection and a little tuning for it.

Well the best price I have found is this place called www.extremepsi.com for the Stage 1 $250.00 and I custom made the cover.. They recommend the STAGE 2, but for me it was to pricey at 450..

I want that, but I don't want anything I will have to be filling. Also more tuning would have to be done.

i was partial to nitro , but with nitro you have to find a speed shop to refill your bottle and nitro is exspensive. With this i can stop by any auto parts store and pick up a gallon of winshield washer fluid for $1.50 and i'm off.. Plus it helps with detenation problems.
You are right with the tuning though, but my car is going to the shop for tuning soon anyway. So they can do it all with one shot..

I'll post my results when i get them so you guys can see the diff
