We replace 2 MAF meters without any success. We data logged each run and found that the computer is not reading the MAF correctly. The loads are all over the place and the computer is putting way too much timing into the car. At full throttle, my load should be at about 250%, but it jumps from that to 40%, 100%, etc... Every time the load drops, the computer puts timing into the car making it extremely dangerous. We swapped the MAF sensor out twice and it does the same thing. So, it's not the meter. We are stuck... I have DiabloSport here from Florida and we're all having issues. Anyone ever run into this problem?
 
all the slopes were calculated correctly.. We checked numerous amount of times. We took out the computer and tested that as well. It has been updated, but wouldn't have anything to do with the load readings. I am stumped...
 
ok stupid ? time have you checked to verify the wiring to the MAF is still good? All wiring back to the eec is good right? Or maybe a chassis ground seen them make all kinda things act funny. Also you said you tried 2 MAF are you sure they are ok? My buddy had 2 driveshafts in a row that were outa balance so $hit does happen.
 
We did briefly check the wiring to the MAF. Nothing looked frayed, or disconnected. We even took a 90MM MAF out of a lightning and it had the same problem. I doubt that 3 MAF's were bad. Then we thought it was the computer we were using. So, we hooked it up to another car in the shop. That car's load numbers were dead on. So, the computer works. Maybe we need to go deeper into the wiring issue and follow it all the way to the computer and see what we can find.

Yeah, we did datalog the voltage with load, but the load was so all over the place compared to the voltage. Every dyno pull showed completely different comparisons. The voltage never coincided with the load percentage.
