I have a 91 coupe with an AOD. The car came with pullies, smog delete, shortie headers, o/r H-pipe, adj. fp regulator, electric fan, HD radiator, msd distributor, 3:73 gears, and welds. I've added a msd 6al, mac pro dumps, guages, cowl hood, shift kit, ATI balancer, trunk mounted optima battery, 70mm TB and an typhoon intake. So what should be next? I know i need heads and a cam but don't want to do that kind of work to a car with 130g on the odometer. I have a nitrous kit but i'm a little nervous about putting it on. Should i go mass air and injectors, fuel pump, converter and input shaft, or..........?

i would go with a converter or mass air meter, the stock converter is a pig, i would also put some subframe connectors on also.

Go ahead and bolt on the heads. Don't be so afraid of a little mileage. Save the Nitrous for after the rebuild. You could convert to Mass Air and replace the cam to, but i'm running nearly 300fwhp (with bolt-ons) in my Speed Density Mustang with the stock cam and no issues. The converters definetly got to go though! As stated earlier, sub frame connectors are a must!

No need to upgrade beyond 19lb injectors right now. Start saving up for a set of heads and a rebuild.
