94vib, i got sucker-punched with brass knucks once. it was the only punch dude landed on me though, after he hit me, i ended up on top of him with him pinned between asphault and my truck. was wailing on the guy with my own blood pouring on his face. good times.

The guys to watch out for in a fight is not the big strong type, but the lean quick type. Speed kills in a fight, and if you have been in enough you know this to be true.

As for me, I get my ass kicked everyday. I spar with 4th and 3rd degree black belts and the only protection we have are helmets, cups and mouth guards. I've gotten the wind knocked out of me so many times I've gotten used to it. Oh, and helmets don't really protect you, a couple nights ago I got knocked out cold with a back kick, lol. Brutal stuff, but hey, if I run into some shmuck who wants to start something on the street, I'll know how to handle the situation.
