I know my wallet is going to thank me at the gas pump. Blown 5.0 running 93 octane = almost $3 a gallon. Thanks but I'll pass.

Traitor!! I want a bike, but I wouldn't consider trading the stang for one. Maybe one day I'll win the lottery so I can afford both.....

Not sell, but between gas prices, and driving my stang too much, I picked up a hoopty to get around in.

Gas is not really the reason why I sold it there were lots of factors but Im going to have lots of fun w/ this as soon as I get used to driving it. Havent had it on the road yet just getting used to the clutch/throttle in the drive way so far

ahh, well I was planning on doing a rear seat delete anyway If I had kept the car so the stang would have been down to one passanger as well.

Just giving you a hard time.

By the way, once you get used to it you'll have to go over to the track with it. I went 11.7 @118 on my 97 Zx-r. You should be faster than that. My 99 ZX-9R went 10.28 @ 139.70.

Maybe next yr I'll try the track. Deff wont be this riding season. Its amazing how fast these bikes are. All that time, money, effort into getting my stang into the 12's and right off the show room floor this bike would kick my stangs ass all day long.

Sad thing is everyone lays down their first bike.

It's pretty now though.

There are two types of riders...

Those that have been down,
and those that will go down.

Take it easy until you are totally comfortable on that thing. It can, and will hurt you if you don't. Oh, and it doesn't take much to make 500-600lb (ballpark w/ rider) go 12's. I always laugh when some kid on a bike tries to race me in my car. Apples vs. Oranges.

If I had $1 for everytime I heard that in the past 3 wks I could have paid cash for the bike.

Thats why I have not even driven it on the road yet and wont until I get comfortable w/ the clutch/throttle and then it will only be back and fourth on my road in front of my house until I get used to the shifting. Good thing I live on a side road in the country.

When you do your practice runs on your road, try to make it to where there is a left, and right hand turn in there somewhere. That was the part that took some getting used to when I went out the first time.
Nice bike.
