So when time comes to overhall the stock suspension, I want a kit that will give me noticeably better handling (confidence cornering on mountain road for example) and still ride nicely. I also want a bit of a drop, but nothing thats going to scrape over every speed bump. What do you guys think of the MM sport box? I dont have sfc's yet, and when I do my h/c/i ill need a new stb anyways, so this might not be a bad deal. Is there another package out there good quality and resonably priced?

Also, whats the verdict on coil-overs? I know they are expensive and improve handling and ride, but at what cost (aside from bills)?

i got eibach pro street coil overs.ride is much firmer than stock.height is adjustable,so you can set it where you like it.handling compared to stock is excellent.price new i think is around 1300$.got mine used with a few other parts for the same price.i love the handling and ride, but i'm not sure if i would pay the 1300 for just the coilovers as money is always a factor for me.

the mach 1 kit is a fairly decent kit and drops the car a bit. it's a nice basic starter kit.

I just put MM coilovers on my car, but haven't had a chance to drive it yet. I can say that the construction is top notch.

If you're looking for a pretty good drop plus handling without a harsh ride, you definitely should go with coilovers.

Can't complain about my MM setup. The ride is fine, unless roads are particularly bad. Only the tallest of speedbumps cause a rub, but that's mostly due to the X pipe.

Handling is awesome. Brake dive is greatly diminished. Coming hot out of corners is completely controllable and much more efficient.

I wanted to keep the stock suspension geometry for the most part. Keeping noise to as much a minimum as possible was a moderate goal.

MM's kit was great and highly recommended. Griggs is another top notch name, but I know nothing about it personally.

I will admit that 2.5" catbacks will fit with little room to spare around the panhard bar setup. My Bassani catback fits, but with very little room to spare. Noise is nearly no issue, especially since I added a little wrap (similar to header wrap)around the tube sections that come close to the exhaust. No noise 99% of the time. I have no idea what the fitment issue will or will not be if I decide to go with a torque arm and torque arm springs.

H&R supersport springs will drop you a great deal and probably more than you're wanting.
