so i finally got around to throwin my hood and bumper on and some other accent pieces and odds and ends.... the s281 spoiler is all painted, but not on yet, its going on tomorrow... ran out of 2 sided tape damn you saleen!!! anyways let me know what u guys think...








now the accent pieces... since its a DFG car, the accent pieces arent too noticeable thru pictures, so i took some shots of the accent pieces... the flash on the camera for some reason would NOT go off... so the taillights look alot lighter than they really are... btw, yes that is a black ford emblem in the back... also got the new 05+ GT emblems on the side of the car to match the gas door... also got some center cap decals for the rims from 69Clark that ill be throwin on this weekend along with my spoiler and dumps... thanks again Tom, pics will be up soon!!

edit: if u didnt notice, the mirrors are painted too!!

Man thats an awesome color.

Looks sweet. You should get some scoops like I have. That would look sick too.

EDIT: And paint that piece under the back bumper black.

thanks fellas... im proud to see where it is at right now... next 6 months or so id like to get the whole car torn down and resprayed, this was just a temp fix... i NEEDED the hood fixed(stock 1 was cracked due to previous owner) and the front bumper was all dinged, scratched, because of the other owner... i now have a few little dings n dents here and there and some scratches...

over time i guess lol... cars come along way in just over a year

yeah i hear u eric... im finally bitin the bullet and puttin my lowerin springs in the back i believe, as long as i wont have any clearance issues...

i THINK these dumps are the dynamax race mufflers... got them on there with the stock shorties and the off road h.... i just scored some parts off a friend that i have until december to pay him off, $2500 worth... probably make my car worthy of doin about 330hp .... so the exhaust is getting LTs and a ProChamber i believe, might keep the off road h with it...

Wish I had a DFG, your car looks awesome. I want to see the pics of the s281 spoiler too. This makes me want to get my car painted even more :-(

we talkin abotu the rear springs? if so, i never installed them... i did the fronts, got lazy and actually decided the car looked clean still


and thanks guys for all the compliments... soon as the 281 wing is on, pic whore time pt. 2 lol

and iwashmycar, if u look closely, the taillights are the same way... originally, IMO, the mirrors looked that way, so i figured instead of completely losing a black accent piece on each side of the car, i figured the semi gloss black would be best... i didnt want to do a glossy black and have it pop, i figured dulling it up a bit would make it different... when u see the whole scheme face to face, its 100% better... pics do no justice...

Car looks awsome, man! DFG truely is an amazing color. Mine will look nearly identical to yours next year, except mine's a 'vert. I'm looking at getting a Cobra front bumper cover as well as the S281-style wing, but I might go with a side-exit exhaust and a different hood that will clear a 351W motor. We already have the same wheels haha

I do! But I'm thinking of going a bit of a different direction, I want to put a black top on it, and convert most of the interior to black, and do a rear-seat delete. I want a 4 or 6-point rollcage for it that will be done in either black or chrome. As of this winter's first snow, I'm retiring this car from daily driver duties and it will become purely a weekend/open-track/show car.
