Some Progress Pics

Different question for sure :D My music taste waries, but Tool, Mudvayne, and Godsmack are in heavy rotation in my MP3 collection right now.

A man after my own heart right there. I am very impressed with the work that has taken place and love the airbursh work, just not very hot on the flame layout. It's going to be sick when it's finished that' for sure!

Well some more pics for those of you that aren;t sick of seeing it yet.

Re-assembling things now, and getting ready to drop the engine in, then it goes for wet sand and buff and we will see if it needs one more shot of clear or not. Little over a gallon of clear on the car as of right now. Nice and thick.

:D

That detail is unreal. THis car is in my area, it used to be thinner all around but he had it redone and IMO it's now been brought overboard. Yours is KILLER!

Anyone who thinks otherwise is blind or jealous! The flames totally make it and take it over the top. They're awesome. Get ready to win some Best Paint awards!

Looks good but, I wonder what it would look like without the tribal graphics and just the air brushed flames. Nice though! Good work.

I wish now that we didn't do the tribal after seeing how the white turned out. We (the painter and myself) both agree that the white looks much better on the blue then we both thought it would. But since the Tribal is under the blue we are too far in to start over so I guess I will have to suffer with it (not that I mind much because the tribal is hard to see unless the light hits the right way). Overall I am very happy and can't wait to see the shine we get once we wet sand and cut the clear.

From what I can see it doesn't really look like it'd be THAT much work to redo the tribal areas. I mean, compared to always thinking "Man, I wish I woulda..." from now on, you know?

I see some questions about just real flames i just cleared the F-150 last night here are some pics of that one... Still has to Be Color sanded and Buffed yet.

Don’t get me wrong I love the design, and the tribal is what we started with and I loved it then (and I still do), I just didn’t expect the white to be so nice looking. If I knew then what I know now, I would have done less black and let the white be the main focus. But I am extremely happy with it and am glad to have it almost complete. Now comes the fun part of putting it all back together and not scratching anything. And trying to run a Twin Turbo set up with out having to cut much under the hood. :D

Thats some A+ airbrushing.
and the paint speaks for itself.

i have seen way too much crappy flame jobs that make me want to kick a baby.

i only wish i could repaint my coupe with that quality

One of those last minute things that we decided to keep with the theme of the outside under the hood, couple things being done on the underside of the hood I will post pics of once he finishes that up.
