a guy posted pics of his new 05 GT in sonic blue over at mustangworld.com, first time iv seen this color...this is the exact color id get...to bad i cant afford one







keep in mind..this is NOT my car...just thought id share the pics with you stangers...i know how much we all like to see some other lucky basturd geting something we want soooo bad...lol

Only thing that shoks me is the freaking automatic tranny on a damn GT!! Can't beleave ppl can do that. Color is sweet though.

Wow, I love that color but thats the first time i've seen the auto in the new stang and it really looks bad. It's all big and clunky, anyone else agree? But that point aside why do people put down those who decide to buy an automatic? It's the preference and I don't think any less of someone who does, plus as someone said earlier in the forum, the auto pulls impressive and consistent numbers, that maybe/maybe not be matched with a stick...just my thoughts

Sonic Blue rocks. Unfortunately Ford is making my life difficult. I was going to wait until 2006, but Sonic Blue reportedly will be discontinued after the 2005 MY since its been around since mid 2002.

To each his own. That blue has too much purple for me. I'd much rather see a much darker navy type of blue.

If I ever bought another Mustang, I would buy an auto. I like my 5 speed, but I'm sick of it already.. Always breaking them too. I'd rather be a little slower and more consitant.

That looks to be an issue of the camera. Look how red the asphalt is. I do wish it was just a little darker though (but not True Blue dark).

i think the auto stick looks ok..little bit to tall..but kinda reminds me of the old slap sticks

damn..if they discontinue that color they better have some other bad ass color blue to replace it...blue is my color

looks close to Acapulco Blue ... what an amazing color. they should bring that back. it'd make my stomach jump to see that color on a new stang

I agree. My son has an '02 Sonic Blue V6 Coupe and I prefer my True Blue color over his Sonic Blue. I hope Ford brings back the True Blue or some color close to the True Blue Color in future models.

Hey, thats close to my car

I ordered a Sonic Blue, Interior Upgrade, Tan Leather, Automatic, Side Air Bags, Anti-Theft, Shaker 1000, Standard Wheels. It supposed to be here sometime next week. Why automatic - 1) I have a 2003 Z06 if I feel like rowing, my wife can't drive a stick (so if she needs to use the car she can) and the only way I could get her to agree to the stang and keep the vette was an auto
