Sorry boys, the lady is gone :(

Sorry guys, I traded in the 95. I loved the car, lots of great memories..ect. but, I do a lot of my driving for a living now... and well, it wasnt the best car to have year round. (Indiana).

Now, before I tell you what I traded it for,.. and before the flame wars start lol
I LOVE being a part of the stangnet community , it has helped me alot in the past, and I hope that I was able to add something to it myself.

Now, the Lady.. yes, she's gone. and I miss her. The new daily ride (let the flames begin) 2005 dodge SRT-4. I miss the stang, not from a performance standpoint,.. just,.. memories.
I dont much care to be in debt again. but, debt is safer than death I guess.

I am working on starting a family now, and wanted something with 4 doors.. and a lil speed to it. I got the SRT used, it had 2,500 miles on it when I picked it up,.. I paid 12,900 before tax n' stuff. (car had a sticker of almost 23k.)
The previous owner had thrown a bit of money at it,.. mopar stage 1.. cold air.. ect ect. but, I freaked out (in a good way) when it had a big blue bottle in the trunk!.

First thing I did, I checked the plugs, and I checked the jet sizes before I even drove the car. (I carry tools ) plugs where good... jets,.. not too crazy... drove the car, and, well.. it was nice. (duhh, I bought the damn thing)

Anyway, I still have a mustang.. yes.. a 1990 lx 5.0 5 speed,.. and I love the hell out of it, so dont beat me to a bluddy pulp lol

I just gotta learn this high power front wheel drive thing, its a beeeoootch.

On the bottle, the srt ran a 13.52@111.78 mph lol graned, the bottle wasnt activated until 3rd gear,.. (traction is a pain) not bad for a four door four banger.

But you know what?.. the single biggest regret that I have about trading in the stang,.. the srt being a nice car and all.. and just doesnt have the bloodline of the mustang. the heritage isnt there. thats what makes me miss the mustang the most. and why, I will remember you guys.

I'll be around,.. dont dismiss me just yet! long live the Blue oval. but.. be carefull of that little thing next to you with a bigass wing. lol (quick cars they are).

SRT 4's really arent bad cars. I drove my buddies up and down my street, and it was actually really nice. smooth, buttery clutch, nice seats bone stock, the shifter throw was scary short (mopar short throw installed), plus i like the sound of a healthy BOV

4 doors and a little speed is nice. just dont be one of those guys trying to push 500+ hp out of a front wheel drive 4 door car. a douchebag here in town had one, and blew up on the dyno, and messed up the dyno as well.

You know, 500 hp is a LOT for any car, and driving the SRT on the bottle a few times, and I have no idea what its really making at the wheels on the bottle.. im guessing 330-340. (65 horse jets) traction is a nightmare. that little white turd puts its speed on in a HURRY!! lol It gets pretty good gas milage, as long as I keep my foot out of it.

Anyway, no. I dont see any 500 HP trials coming from this car. Its fun, gets "better" gas milage lol handles well.. has brakes that are pretty damn good.

Insurance is high though..
