well, i hope you guys are all having a good week/weekend, cause mines leaving a lot to be desired...

for the second (and last) time im out of town in gallop NM to do gas station canopy work, we got here tuesday, and ever since then it's been anywhere form 7-35 degrees outside due to this lame cold front that we got. And coinsadentaley (lol sp?) since about tuesday night, i've been sick as a dog, which makes working 10-14 hour days AWSOME (you should try it sometime) in the said weather. So here i am, with my only buddies right now (teh stangnet) sick and **** and getting ready to work another 10 hour day tomorrow...

sorry for the lame/boring post, but it just sucks being here right now, the only thing that keeps me going is the little voice in my head saying "just think of the car, just think of the car" and the "ziggy stardust's greatest hits" cd i have on backorder (lol just kidding about the second part), so yeah, it's not fun out here.

I know how it goes man.... Nothing like being a kid in school being able to take sick days huh? I haven't taken a sick day in a few years...and Im senior tech now so, I pretty much can't without screwing the shop over....

It sucks but you gotta do what you gotta do.. Haha, my saving thought now that my paid vacation is over, is that I finally got the car 100% dialed in and correct, and cant wait to get back to the track with this cold weather....

Sorry man. Most of us have been there. We can definately sympathize with you. I wanted to vent earlier but didn't so I'll hijack yours, hehe. I busted a pass. side shock and quad shock a bit back. Finally got those bought. Gonna be changing them this week along with an exhaust hanger is broke and its sagging a bit. Now I have a popping sound up front (suspension). New tires are ordered, just waiting on them. My business has kept me swamped with Christmas orders. I lost my auto factory job so I get free school. Its been very stressful and busy getting the TRA and WEA paperwork and requirements together.

It just seems like when it rains it pours sometimes. Get well man and sorry for the hi-jack.

we've all been there. i don't get sick days so i never take days off unless i am too sick to get out of bed cause i don't want to loose a day worth of pay. i do the long hours too and i always seem to get sick right when its really busy at work. my tirck is when i am not working i am sleeping (when i'm sick)
