Sorry guys, but I think it's going to be time.

So it has to be a convertible that you can drive year round and still has some get up and go.....How about an early 90's full size Bronco with a 351W?
:D

lol
well, you got MOST of the equation
but you forgot one key element

the pimpmobile ;)

and no, shag carpets, fuzzy dice, and furry seat covers won't cut it :rlaugh:

Aaron (x8):
don't worry dude, we'll get the photoshoot before it's sold
if not, won't the s2000 look cool?

Audi TT?

:Word:

That's awesome.
These EVO wings man. I don't understand the craze.
Yes they're relatively fast for what you pay for.

But if I saw a lump of **** driving down the road, I would let it pass me.
The idea of seeing that car would be bad enough on my eyes at it is.

You guys can't all tell me the s2000 is a crappy car either.

I've never driven an S2000, but I will tell you what I know from reading about them. Peak HP is somewhere around 8-9K, and Im sure they are lacking low end torque as practically all honda's seem to do. I do kinda like the way that first black one looks but, I certainly wouldn't trade your mustang for it tho, unless you want to get into road racing/autocross.

No you're right, the torque definitely won't be there. But i'm sure its get up and go will still be present.
it has 240 horse with about 160 ft/lbs torque
and it will run the 1/4 mile faster than my mustang will now at 14.2secs at 99.9mph.

I've really limited myself to cars because of my price range and specifications (vert)
but at least i can get one for well under $40G

this pic makes me want a red one

Well after driving z4's and the rest of BMW's line up, i cant STAND how CRAMPED it is. Im 6'2", so im not sure how tall/big u are, but i could never have that car to cram myself into every day.

And it just doesnt feel safe, i feel like if i got into an accident in the front, my feet were gonna get smashed, and from the back, my back was gonna get smashed. Lol this probably isnt true but its just the feeling i get.

It seems like there are other reasons u want to get rid of the stang because there are plenty of ways to keep it and not have to have it be a year rounder.

I wont try to convince you...i know u will wake up soon enough. I'll send a prayer to the Stang Gods tonight for you:flag:

I'll be honest; I've ridden in a 2001 S2K with nothing more than an ACT clutch and was extremely impressed, it doesn't have a hard time throwing your head back in the seat. That 8k rpm comes up REAL fast. Neat cars.

Hey, if that's what moves ya. But you gotta know you will be outgrowing either the honda or the z4 in a few years.

I still say, keep the 'stang and get a nice 4 door sedan that moves. There are plenty out there.

BTW, as C&D says, you gotta drive those s2000's like you stole em to get them to move any faster than a sedate pace. It's not that they are light on torque, it's that they have NO torque.

Either way, hope you enjoy.

I'm 5'11" 185lbs.
I fit in my stang perfectly without any problems stretching out. I can totally understand what you would mean about feeling like you're in a can.

I'm a cockpit kinda guy so i've been looking for something closed in like a rocket.

There are many reasons for selling the stang, you're right.
One of them is I am now anticipating more car problems in the future than what the car's worth...

I really want something with a bumper to bumper warranty.

Now that is comforting to know
i appreciate that man. That is exactly something I need to hear. I've always thought they would be fun cars, I just found it weird that not many are around here, but then again I'm in Canada. I'm sure more exist in the southern parts of the U.S.
So long as the car is fun to be in, that's all i care about. I'm not looking for a 10 second car.
If I wanted to go at the speed of light, I'd buy a bike.

A 4 door sedan.
Hmmm...
4 doors hehe, i'm like going in the absolute polar opposide direction lol
I'm trying to remove my back seats.

It is possible too that I may outgrow the car in a few years time. Hopefully I'll put just enough ks on the car that i can still resell it

I wish I could own an S2000. Driving them at the dealership I work at is a treat.

A very nice automobile, although a little overrated on the horsepower, and even in the higher RPM's, it still left me wanting more.

The cockpit feel in those is sick and I feel like I could take turns at 100 in that thing.

Small car + RWD = YAY.

I'd say S2000 > Gay Z4.

I just talked to God on the phone, he says if you sell the mustang that he's gonna hit you with some "mutha ****in hot lightning"

Don't shoot the messenger.....

Hahhah
maybe i'll be able to out run him in the new sports car.
I know man, i know. It's just that the car, for what I'm going to spend on it, the car just won't seem worth it to me. I'm looking at still, another good $10-15 thousand just to get it where I want. I dunno, I don't love my car that much.

More good news about the car.
Thanks for sharing that dude, it makes me feel more comfortable in my decision. I just wish they sold the car in red in the later years rather than just the 2000-2001s...
