Ok so I have the opportunity to pick up a pro-chamber for a really good deal locally. I currently have a BBK O/R H, what is the difference I might expect in sound from the O/R H to the ProChamber? Will it be raspier, deeper, mellower etc? Just wondering.

I've had both installed on my mustangs, but don't remember the exact difference in sound. I think they almost sound alike, can't remember. I do have to say tho, I get a lot of compliments of how it sounds now with the ProChamber. Words can't describe it cause both sound deep and raspy, but I guess you can add a little metallic sound to the PC, it sounds awesome and supposedly gives you more power. I wouldn't go back to an Hpipe after having this.

I think I'll go ahead and pick it up...it's got 1500 miles on it and is damn cheap, in great condition. It'll be fun to see how it sounds.

I really like the sound of the pro-chamber, but it does seem to quiet the car down a little.

The quality isn't the greatest, but heres a clip of my parent's car with a pro chamber and flows.

I think u have shorties, but just incase, a prochamber will NOT bolt up to bbk long tubes. I think the shorty styles are the same.

Yea I still have the stock headers, and the MAC site says the prochamber for 94-95 will bolt up to stock headers. I assume this would mean I would have no problem bolting it up to my Borla catback.

Not too much quieter. It's still gonna be loud, but I can tell it's not quite as loud as an O/R H.

I would like to find something less raspy, with a really nice deep tone. Right now my car is just loud. It sounds badass for awhile, but the sound honestly looses it's novelty with me. I might just find a different catback to get that though.

prochamber is kinda mild (vs h pipe) at idle and cruising at low RPM but as soon as you give it gas all hell breaks loose and it screams to life like i said its very deep and rumbly

Just to be fair and to give both sides of the spectrum, back when searching for info about the PC, i did come across a few people who didnt like it. Though, the majority gives it a thumbs up Its just too damn expensive in a 3" for long tubes IMO...i'd take the D pipe over it any day of the week for half the price.

Well I'm picking it up this Sunday afternoon. It'll be another 3-4 weeks before I go home for break and put it on. I'll keep you guys posted. I have a camera that takes good videos now, so if someone can hook me up with a place to host a vid, I will do so. I'll also have some videos of my car around the middle of April when I take it down to NC for a show. might even get it on a dyno down there too

Is this a fact? Even if you get the pro chamber meant for long tube headers? I guess I could always take it to a muffler shop and have them make it work. Any idea how much custom fabbing would be required to make the pro chamber fit with BBK LTs?
