South Side Lift Bars????

They'll work, but you'd have to buy a torque box reinforcement kit....but after the whole mess with the 87 I bought, I think I'd reinforce torque boxes on any mustang I have now, not just ones with lots of power

I had them. I put trq. box rein. in with them.

If you get them you will need to weld the brackets to the rear. The instructions say you can bolt them. I did when I ran them and the thing was all over the road. It had a ton of play in the rear. You could tell they worked but the bolts just did not work.

After researching them they are stable if you weld the brackets. I could not commit to welding them on as I was not sure if I wanted to keep them and knew it would be harder to sell if I had to cut them off the car. I took them off and got the UPR u/l set. In the end I just did not need something that hardcore. I could tell they were back there at the track.

The first time I ran with them at the track they "clunked" I let off thinking I broke my rear...:rlaugh:. Nope they just made a good bit of noise.

yeah, i use to have them myself.....everytime you would drive "aggresively", everytime you banged the gears, you would hear loud "slap" coming from them, they were to aggresive, i thought they were gonna rip off my tq boxes......they have solid bushings instead of teh urethane ones that the other control arms come with....they would sqeak alot as well.....the car would "lift" at take off instead of the "squat" it does with other lower control arms
