Spark Plug Retorque

With all the horror stories that I have heard with spark plug blow outs. I have just changed mine and torqued them to 14ftpds, I'm just curious is it worth checking them often or don't mess with them in fear that Murphy law will strike.

I'm also having my passenger head replace due to a bad valve guide, at only 37,000miles. Has anyone had that happen to them yet? My motor was making a top end knock. Thank god for warrenty.

All i do is put some anti-freeze on the channels of the screw part of the plug and then toque it to about 20 ft/lbs no need to check on them tho it's good to take one out and see what color it is to find out if you running too lean or rich or burning oil

I have a 2002 GT, I made my first payment on my car and I didnt even have it to drive. At least the dealer is pretty cool
