I have a 2002 Mustang V6 with manual trans, the only upgrade i have is the H pipe and flowmaster dual exhaust.

Are the Autolite double platinum the stock ones?

What spark do you recomend to put on my stang?

I'm not sure what came on the car from Ford, but you can put pretty much whatever you want in there as long as it's the correct size and heat range. You might get an extra fraction of a MPG with fancier plugs, and you might gain a horsepower or two.

Just did my plugs this afternoon. They had 77k km's (don't know what that is in miles) on the factory plugs and wires (motorcraft platinums).

Put in champion coppers because i've always had good luck with them on fords and chryslers, and i'll just end up replacing them once a yr anyways (i believe cheap and new is better then expense old platinums).

I haven't liked platinum plugs on any car i've put them in, i thought my car was running good before, but the coppers were a pretty nice surprise. I'm sure that the autolites would be just as good.

2 days a go i bought and install the Autolite Double Platinum spark plugs ($3.99) because in autozone did not have the motorcraft in stock. I will see how good are this ones and next time i try the copper ones, a lot of people says are better..

Thanks for your replys and Happy New Year!

Stock would of course be a flavor of Motorcraft. If you have Ford do it for you these days they'll give you Motorcraft Platinum.
