spindle nut

I need to change my front hub assembly and there is a huge nut holding it on (spindle lock nut). How big is it? Ive heard 35mm a few times, but on the autozone web site it says 36mm.

So....what size is it? I need a socket for this thing. Thanks.

Well I went and bought a 36mm. I hope it fits.

This better fix the noise im gettin....or else im going to start the car on fire.

Hope it works for ya. What noise are you referring to? Oh and I see you're in Round Rock, I'm just north of you in Killeen. You ever make it up here any?

I got the 36mm loaner from autozone and it worked fine.

It gets torqued to 221-295 lb-ft.
Brake caliper bolts = 73.7-95.8 lb-ft

Oh, and the noise im getting is coming from my right front wheel. It sounds like a vibration...if that makes sense. I can't really feel it too much, but the right front wheel is wobbleing and the rotor is hitting the pads. (probably where the noise is coming from) Ive changed rotors, so its not a warped rotor.

I love wrecklessly (sp?) throwing parts at a car! Eh, its so old anyway, might as well replace stuff like this anyway.
