SPOUT removed? Can't find timing mark

Similar symptoms.... was it mis firing at higher RPM's or at all ranges?

higher RPMs, after about 4 or 5K rpms.. car would hesitate and pop a little sometimes. Almost like a bucking too.

Thanks for the info. I might have to think about switching it out then.

I see you are in Jacksonville. That's where my stang was evidently originally built. The owner stated he had the motor done by a company called Tachion motors ? Does that happen to ring any bells?

Yes, I've heard of them before, but can't remember anything specific. Where are you located now?

Just about 20 minutes south of Charlotte, NC in a town called Lake Wylie (South Carolina)

Just searched the forums for a real good tuner in the Carolinas and found one highly recommended. Unbelievably - they are only about 10 miles from my house - now that doesn't work out like that very often
