Spring Isolators--Help!

I currently have the Eibach Pro-Kit installed on my 2002 Gt. For some reason since i've had the C-Spings and the pro kit the right side of my car sits exactly 1/4 of an inch higher than the left front and rear.

It's become annoying. The tech told me that if I went to the sportlines this problem would be corrected.

My question is has anyone taken out the isolators on the springs...and if so how much of a drop did this give you? I'm tempted to just take the isolators out on the right hand side only to drop it a little instead of slamming my car down on sportlines.

Any problem with ride height is due to the springs. Your thread is vague to whether you are running Pro Kit springs or C springs. Your thread title mentions isolators which should not be causing this assuming you have the same isolators on each side.

Sorry about that. I currently have the pro-kit. What I was meaning was that despite either kit that I installed both springs gave me a higher ride hieght on the right side.

I thought that the pro-kit would help but the problem is still there. I'm not sure if I got this right, but the isololater is the rubber piece that goes over the spring correct? I was going to take that off to drop the car more on the right side.

Yes but taking the isolator out will usually make alot of noise cause you'll have metal on metal. If you don't mind that then go right ahead you should get a 1/4 drop out of it. Or you could cut the springs on the right side 1/4 or 1/2 a coil till it matches up. How this will affect the ride I'm not sure I've never cut just one side of the car's springs.

True, but it is not a good idea to cut progressive-rate springs due to the varying spring costant. Prokit are progressive (not sure about the C's). If I were you, I'd go with the Pro Kit w/ isolators and wait to see how they settle.

Ya sorry didn't think about that :bang:

Thanks for the replies. I did cut the c-springs and ended up in a whole world of hell. I won't be doing that again. I've had the pro kit in for more than a year now so I think they have settled enough.

I'm probably going to go with the sportline kit I guess. I don't want any extra noise that's for sure. But I hope that the sportlines will finally give me an even drop.

Still can't believe nobody else has noticed this problem on there car. Hope it's not my car?
