Springs...I Hate My Lowering Springs

Ok, im not sure what kind of cameras you guys use. But mine just ate up 4 batteries before I could even get a picture. All of em new out of the pack, two woudlnt even turn it on. So I put in two more and they lasted long enough to get a pic, but now im out and I cant get the pic to the computer.:fuss:

Oh well, how much would those poly isolators raise it up? Also where do you buy em at?

Does my car look about right to have the supposedly 1.5" drop on it? Tomorrow if its not raining I will make sure to see about the isolators. If they are missing im going to order them from Maximum Motorsports.

If you do end up getting new springs, look into the Eibach Drag Launch springs. I think it only drops the car 1" lower than stock. I run them on my car. Check out the pic in my sig.
Yes, your my saving grace. How do they act on the street? Your just the person I wanted to talk to.:nice:

They actually have a nice feel to them. The ride is smooth. Kinda bumpy sometimes, but I think that's more due to my shocks/struts. My car's not too low at all, but I still occasionally scrape my x-pipe on driveways and speedbumps if I have more than 1 passenger in the car. But my cats do hang pretty low so that's why.

They're good springs.. go for it!

Dave, it does not look that low to me - i guess ive seen some weed snaggers around.

the poly isolators are cheap and can raise the car up to 1.5 inches; the amount seems to differ amongst people and brand used.

good luck.

Hey guys, I have a problem. I hate my lowering springs, the car sits way to low for my personal taste. I have the BBK lowering springs and I seriously hate em. I want to pick the car back up, but im afraid stock springs will make it look lifted. Does anyone run drag springs? If so, how do they act? I dont want to buy another expensive set. Also, how much could I get out of these springs if I sale em? People with stock springs, please post pics so I can see the height. I'm so tired of dragging on everything in parking lots and speed bumps. Thanks

Dave

I agree with you. I had BBK's (forget which oens) in my vert and it dropped it too low. I switched to FMS C springs and the car came up about 1.5"...

Yes, those are the springs I want really. I just dont want to pay for em right now.:D Im going more of the drag feel with the car now. Next year ill be 18 and a 99+ mustang here I come, keep the fox of course;)

RydeOn, why dont you grace my computer with some hi-res pics of your car. I have cable so you can send as many as you want. [email protected]
