Squeals at about 3 grand...

I have an annoying noise! When you rev or accelerate to 3000rpm and abouve it sounds like the belt is squealing on my car but it isn`t loose. What might this be??

Could be a bearing going out in one of your accessories. Have someone rev it while you're under the hoos to see if you can pinpoint the source.

That`s kinda what i`m figurin on...maybe the tensioner

Turn your radio up louder, you won't hear it as much.

don't forget the dizzy could be making the noise too. but i'd ck the tensioner first.

I just had to replace the belt on mine to stop it from squealing. It looked fine and was less than a year old but for some reason would not grip.
