I have a '99 GT, and for the past several days whenever I start it sounds like its fine but it doesn't turn over unless I give it some gas. Could this just be a bad tank of fuel or somthing more serious?

Is it every time or is it random?

Thats tough to say. Mine does it about once every other day. I havent looked into it much though. I have been told it could be the IAC valve. Have you replaced your fuel filter recently?

I have just had the car for about 5k miles and I have not done much work on it yet. I think the last time i filled up I may have gotten the bottom of the tank or somthing like that.

bottom of the gas tank? kinda lost me there

+1 for the fuel filter
another thing but i doubt it.
could be the starter. (when this happens though there is alot of noise when it doesnt start) it will start like normal when it doesnt miss.

I ment the bottom of the tank at the gas station, like where the sludge is and such.

If you dont know the last time the fuel filter was changed it might be a good idea to do it especially if you run the car empty. A nice fuel injector cleaner like Redline might help clean you out too.
