i will be installing my heads that have 1.7 rr on them. they are ported gt40s. my question is will the computer have a **** fit on my if i dont get a tune. (i wont have the $$$ for awhile). i know the steeda 19 is supposed to be a good cam for the 94/95 and not need a tune, but will that change with the 1.7rr? btw my springs will be able to handle it. thanks

I'm doing it now. I'm sure there is power to be gained with a tune, but it does run fine without it.

You did the GT-40p's and the Steeda #19 cam? Do you feel like it hurt your bottom end? Give us more info.

I've got 1.7's, GT-40p's and a Cobra intake, but was unsure about the Steeda #19 and was gonna keep the stock cam. If you are running a similar combo with the Steeda #19 and are happy, I might get one too. Let us know.
