Steeda Firewall Adjuster/ Clutch quadrent (Please read)

Hi fellow Mustang brotherz and sisterz:

I just had a Spec stage 1 clutch installed, and I am in the process of breaking in it......so far I am unsatisfied with this clutch, as a annoying consistant tweaking sound is coming possibly from the throw out bearing.

I am interested in ordering the STEEDA firewall Adjuster and Clutch quadrent.
I am limited about technical stuff with cars, but for those of you that got these 2 products....how do they work...I know that u can manually adjust the clucth cable by turning a "nut" on the adjuster. Where is that adjuster located so that u can adjust your clutch engagement at?
Any cons with these items? pros?

When we had the FRPP King Cobra clutch installed in my wife's 01 GT, we also had the shop install the Steeda 'blue' dual pickup quad, firewall adjuster and adjustable cable. When we first got it back from the shop the pedal was an inch higher than my stock clutched 02 GT and the release point was near the top of the pedal travel - knees were hitting the steering wheel! Looking at the other pickup point on the quad, we realized the cable was already connected at the best possible point. After speaking with the shop owner, he explained this is typical when installing an aftermarket quad. Not sure how true that is, but he offered to get the Steeda 'red' quick release, steep ramp quad that would cure the problem for $30 bucks installed. Know what? He was right. The firewall adjuster is easily accessable. As its name implies, it's on the firewall, near the brake master cylinder. It allows 'some' adjustment, taking the slack out of the cable, and can adjust the pedal to a point. To adjust it, you unlock it with an allen wrench, then simple turn the big hollow bolt (for lack of a better term) left or right to move it in or out and thereby adjusting the cable which mounts to and runs through the big hollow bolt. Then retighten the lock.
