If you setup the plug in MS with a wideband is there a self tune option in the software?

Yes, you can tune during driving and with a datalog. the system has full datalog functionality.

On narrowband until I get my wideband tomorrow. Was just trying to get it to fire up. No tuning until the wideband is setup.

I sent a tune to Scott a few days ago, download that tune and give it a shot. if nothing else it has 90% of the tables built already

I think this is a firmware issue. Started with the old firmware. Tried Scott's tune with the injector size corrected and turned to narrow band. I don't expect the car to fully fire up but it's not even firing off one cylinder. Can't check spark b/c the wife isn't home. Put in the factory computer and it fired right up.

Try again but don't correct the injector size.

If nothing else changed other than a firmware update then it's likely your issue.... did you use the bootloader to update the firmware? if so did you remove the jumper when you were done?

No idea what you are speaking of lol. I dowloaded the zip file from the diy site and used the ms2loader_win32.exe file and followed the instructions. Basically you unplug the TFI and run the .exe with the ignition power on. never mentioned a jumper or anything.

Then it's a non issue.

Try reloading firmware.

When talking about "auto tuning". As in me driving the car around, and letting it do it's own thing....

What is the ECU using as a reference for that? My Afr table? If that's the case, How do I know what to set the AFR tables to to allow the ECU to tune to that? And........... if that's the case X2,..... how does all of that relate to cruise/accel/decel ?

Yes it will reference the afr table and adjust the ve table accordingly to achieve the correct fuel enrichment.
-Cruise will be tuned the the most accurately with this method.
-When under a deceleration condition the ECU will ignore the decel fuel adjustment.
-when under Accel the ECU will ignore the Accel Enrichment fueling as if it were a transient.
*you need to let it auto tune for a good minute it won't run great but will get things moving in the right direction.
-Once it is drive able datalog without auto tuning, then use the 've analyze' function in the megalog viewer. set the lambda delay to 5. this is far more accurate than the auto tune during driving.

I believe I set your afr tables up for you, if you want to change them just go in and adjust it.
-some things to remember are.-
-the table is set for kpa x rpm
*100kpa is wot NA
*1psi = 7kpa so ....5psi boost =135kpa
*when in vacuum 1inhg=3.4kpa .....so 14inhg= 47kpa. 100-47= 53kpa...

Below 10inhg 30-65kpa you want to be leaner in the cruise range 14-15afr.
70kpa 13.5 - 13.8 ish
By 90kpa 13 ish
100kpa 12.5 ish
By 135kpa 12 ish 5psi
By 170kpa 11.7 ish 10psi

For your idle range 70kpa down to 30kpa 1200rpm and less set to 13.5afr.

I want to 1st thank everyone for all their feedback on this thread. I just purchased the MSPNP Gen2 yesterday along with the LC-2 wideband. While going through this thread I noticed a lot of talk about making sure the ECU and the Wideband use the same ground source.

What do you guys use for the 12V "keyed" power source...Battery, old O2 wiring harness, another source?

I suggest a small relay with keyed power source feed the power directly off the battery. ground to same location as ecu.

Mine is pulling power through the stock harness. I will be changing mine to a relayed battery feed.

Well,...we need to modify a few things.

Firstly.......you Did set the AFR table....I have since changed that. Not all of it,..just the parts that float around the idle.

OK no problem, post your tune and I can make some changes real quick.
Or do you need another tuning day?

I'd do that......Just as soon as I can figure out how to do it. I have the tune saved to my desk top,..but damned if I can get a copy of the damn thing in here.

I didn't change it that much. (I think). I just messed around w/ multiple cells at a time when I wanted the thing to stop hunting.
I only want to know about some stuff that I can talk to you over the phone...like accel enrichment.

When you look at it you can call me and maybe we'll both open TS and I'll make the adjustments in real time then.
Plan to drive the thing this afternoon around 5 after I put more gas in it, and switch the sending unit wires over.
