Still stuck at home

yea, I hear ya man. I was down here when that one came through, definently not a pleasent thing to witness. I have friends in Arcadia,FL that were there when charley hit that side of the state, alot of the small towns over there including Arcadia never have fully recovered from it. I'm only 28 but I have been through quite a few hurricanes over the years, thankfully I have been extremely blessed to have made it through all of them with out loosing too much. I live a a little inland so that helps alot with the wind damage, not as strong by the time it reaches us.

this is the aftermath of just this past weeks snow fall. the plow piles are just over 6 feet high and they are all over the place. the drifts made it really deep in some places. That's the DD buck under there.

i wish i had a picture of the back of it. You couldn't see the car. It drifted so it was just a solid mound of snow covering the back of the car.

Nice flight deck there revhead, look around for C-130 (MC-130W)flight deck photos...thats my office, the seats are not comfortable, its loud, wah wah wah.....ancient airframe/design/avionics...but we do some cool stuff

I'm very familiar with the C-130. One of my best friends is on the engineering team for Lockheed in Marietta for the C-130J. I've been on the C-130 assembly line in Marietta. Saw the F-22 assembly line too. They make them 6 at a time.

You asshats need to keep your snow up north. We got 3 inches yesterday. Now I'm snowed in.

SNOW??? what's snow??????? I've lived in Florida for 20yrs & been in South Florida for the last 12yrs........ I haven't even seen snow in years! I really feel sorry for you guy's up north,I have no idea what it is like to get snowed in & I don't want to find out anytime soon!..... to me, north= anywhere above FL:D

I lived in FL for 20 years, 12 of those in S. Fla. I'll pass too. The only thing I miss about that place is no income tax. The state of GA is killing me.
